The Euricom Group

Euricom Group was born in 1970 from the passion, dedication and sacrifices of Francesco Sempio who built his first rice mill in 1960 & his good friend Giuseppe Nervi, both great entrepreneurs and connoisseurs of the typical Lomellina product: rice.

Today Euricom is managed with the same visionary spirit by the second generation: Bruno Sempio, Francesco’s son who became president in 2013. Our headquarters is in Valle Lomellina, in the heart of the historic region of rice cultivation in Italy, an area which remains unsurpassed for its rice quality and production facilities. We operate worldwide as producers of private-label foods - for major retail chains - and supplier and manufacturer to the food industry. EuricomUK are the leading European rice-growing group and one of the top five players worldwide.

A Cleaner Planet

Rice milled and packed in our factory in Valle Lomellina (PV), ISO 14064 certified, is the first rice in Europe produced by a process achieving

CO2 Neutral where greenhouse gases are wholly neutralised through our renewable energy source.

Contract Farming

Throughout the world, we are engaging in exclusive contract farming. Our methods are eliminating pesticides by sharing our extensive knowledge of alternative methods for infectious controls. By working hand in hand with our own farmers and contract farmers we are insuring sustainability on future supplies, and by us controlling our own contract farming this gives us full visibility from farm to fork.

A Safer Future

All our raw material in Valle Lomellina are treated by means of CO2 pressure only, this has allowed us to totally eliminate the necessity of fumigation before packing. Using CO2 pressure ensures the natural integrity of all our rice and the environment.

Our increased use of certified packaging boxes made from foodboard FSC regulated is reducing the necessity for plastic in our factories.

Foodboard is a carton board with functional barriers that is fully sustainable and a safer food packaging to protect our planet.
